LUNCH CLUB FAREWELL TO REVD MARTIN AND MAGGIE
At their lunch on Tuesday, 26 February 2019, members and helpers of Littlecourt Lunch Club bade a fond farewell to Reverend Martin and Maggie, as Martin retires. The scene was set, with Janet playing old-time pieces on the piano. Deirdre made the presentation; thanking Martin and Maggie for the generous and wonderful support they had provided to the Lunch Club over more than six years.
Pam also presented them with a photograph album, with photographs of club members, including their outing to Heaven Farm last year. Martin and Maggie thanked everyone for their card and gifts. Martin went on to say that he had so much enjoyed getting to know every single member and to learn at least a little bit about their life stories; which he found fascinating. Everyone then tucked into the usual delicious meal, prepared by Cooking Team F.
