SUPPORT FOR S.K.E.T. - CAN YOU HELP PLEASE?
S.K.E.T. stands for Sevenoaks-Kenya Education Trust, and supports the education of children in Kenya from very poor families. Following our funding of a pupil whose schooling has now successfully concluded, we are being offered a new pupil, Valerie, age 14, who we are intending to sponsor. We need to raise £320 for her boarding fees for next year.
Sunday School will be holding a Cake and Biscuits Sale after the 9:30am Service on Sunday, 26 May 2013 (help with baking items appreciated). They are also inviting everyone to bring and donate 'spare coppers' and other small change, to help to make a 'Circle of Pennies' around the Church at the 9:30 Family Service on Sunday, 2 June 2013.
