Message received from Kim Mayman of Traidcraft: A huge thank you for holding a Traidcraft Big Brew this year and for your gift of £60.00, on behalf of St Mary's Riverhead. Traidcraft works with smallholder farmers in India, Bangladesh, Kenya and Tanzania, providing the skills and training to help families grow more, earn more and eat more.

This means thriving farms, food on the table and a sustainable income. It means smallholders like Rokeya can send her sons to school and give them three meals a day, where before they lived hand to mouth. Training in tea growing has given Rokeya an income, as well as the confidence that comes from providing for her family. She said, "I am happy to have the chance to prove my value. My pride is my tea garden." On behalf of everyone at Traidcraft, and those with whom we work, please extend our thanks to everyone involved in the event. Your support means together we can help more families all over South Asia and East Africa to break the cycle of poverty. Photos
