MOTHERING SUNDAY
At the 9:30am Family Communion service on 26 March 2017, Sunday School played a key part. Children had helped to pre-prepare the beautiful posies of flowers, distributed to mothers. The children read Bible passages, performed short sketches and led prayers; all on the themes of love, helping, caring and sharing. They had also summarised their thoughts in a series of colourful drawings which can be seen below (photos courtesy of Anne Straight). Revd. Martin thanked Sunday School for all their hard work, and for making it such a happy occasion.
